- Sainmhíniú reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with a ternary mobile phase Tagairt "COM-Terminology Coordination, based on: P. Jandera. 'PREDICTIVE CALCULATION METHODS FOR OPTIMIZATION OF GRADIENT ELUTION USING BINARY AND TERNARY SOLVENT GRADIENTS' (8.2.2024) Journal of Chromatography 485 (1989) 113"
- Nóta There are two types of ternary gradient chromatography defined by Jandera as ternary solvent-strength and combined selectivity-solvent-strength. In the case of the former, the ratio of the concentrations of two organic modifiers is kept constant; whilst the sum of the two concentrations is changed (i.e. the solvent-strength increases). In the latter case the ratio of the two organic modifiers and the sum of their concentrations changes simultaneously during gradient elution.
